I was really excited about the artist watch feature but then I realized that it retroactively downloads all albums (and/or singles, compilations, etc). I keep my library pretty neat and would like to have a way to download future albums (which I can listen to and potentially delete if I want) without having to download all existing albums. Since I don't always keep what I download, I would like to also make sure that the Watch feature does not redownload songs that I delete from my library.
Perhaps this could be done by keeping a "minimum release date" for each watched Artist and refusing to download any songs that are released before that date. The min release date would be set to "today" when an artist is watched, and it could be updated every time a new album is successfully downloaded in order to protect that album from being redownloaded.
There could be a setting to switch between this new behavior and the current behavior, if anyone really hates this idea.
